His work draws influence from Russian criminal tattoos and medieval woodcut art. Dark and aggressive on the surface, but if one takes the time to look deeper, the fragility and sensitivity is revealed.

HANNAH VON FARREN
Hannah Von Farren is a self taught artist from the Lake District area in England. She has lived in Manchester for 12 years, and has been tattooing since 2013. She specialises in illustrative blackwork and patternwork.
With a love of all things nerdy she finds her inspiration in many areas. Travelling in her campervan, playing video games, exploring cities, watching movies and the fantasy art of magic the gathering and warhammer. Vintage botanical and medical diagrams are also of great inspiration, she loves creating depth with lines and textures.
Over the years she has refined working with complex and heavily detailed pieces, and now mainly works in black. That being said, she also greatly enjoys little walk-in tattoos at her shop! Meeting new people each day and hearing their life stories make Hannah’s days awesome, and she loves working around other creative individuals.
Aspirations include creating some super-sized pieces of artwork, using only pen & ink and to branch more into fine line fantasy-based illustrations.

I was born in 1988 in North-East of Italy, near the sea. Fallen in love with art and illustration since I could hold a pen in my hand, growing up I specialized in creating detailed and surrealistic images, using firstly just black pens and watercolors, then also by using oil, acrylic and digital painting. Having a metal-head past, contributed in growing my passion for skulls, skeletons and dark stuff in general. I don’t dislike working in other art genres though, taking them as an opportunity to always improve my skills, challenging myself and constantly having fun. Since 2012 I’ve worked for many different clothing brands, bands and created artworks for book and album covers.

Before I was a tattoo artist I was and still am an illustrator, I found that I am drawn to fantasy and bold images like those of 70’s rock t-shirts, gig poster and also that of old skateboard designs from the 80’s and 90’s. Fantasy, wizards, demons, heroes and heroines will always inspire me as will the animal kingdom and the great stories of the all the great fantasy writers!
Born in Swindon, England, I became a fanatic of art at the age of eight when I was first introduced to art through the medium of cartoon television shows and comic books. My first ever comic book was from the Batman series. Ever since then I’ve been obsessed with art, drawing odd fantasy drawings and Anime characters.
I am influenced by many artists and illustrators – all with differing styles and mediums – and have turned to their work for artistic stimulation over the years. Among them are Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, Lucian Freud, Jenny Saville, James Jean, David Choong Lee, Sergio Toppi and Ashley Wood. I’ve also gained much inspiration through cartoons art and lighting; people’s facial expressions, eyes and different forms of organic patterns and shapes.
In 2008 I graduated from Swindon College with a degree in HND Illustration and hope to progress to a B.A. in Illustration sometime in the future. I’ve done a few exhibitions such as the Swindon College exhibition for Illustration and Graphic Design students, D/AD New Blood Exhibition at Earl’s Court London, and a solo Internet exhibition on Phone Booth Gallery.
My work can be described as surreal and unique in its own way. Using mostly pencil, watercolours and pigment pens, I create portraits of ordinary people but create them in a unusual way by, embellishing patterns and watercolour effects into the portrait to give a vivid explosion effect—transforming their faces from something plain to something entirely bizarre and wonderful at the same time.
I specialize in shirt designs, print designs, posters, album art, logos, branding, editorial illustration and private commissions.
Now living in Hackney, east London.

VEKS VAN HILLICK
VEKS VAN HILLICK
Veks Van Hillik was born in 1988, in a small village of the South-West of France. Influenced by his elder brothers, he takes up drawing at a young age and finds his first source of inspiration from the nature surrounding him, its fauna and flora. Veks later develops his own style: an oneiric, surreal one, while integrating other various influences. Artists such as Gustave Doré, Ingres, Caravaggio, Dali or Breton are constant inspirations from the past centuries but, as cursed by his generation, his work is also tinged by pop culture, video games, comics, street art and tattoos. Since 2010, when he did his first exhibition in Toulouse (where he now lives and works), he has taken part in many exhibitions throughout France.
Recently, his work crossed borders through installments at the MondoPop Gallery of Rome (Italy) in 2012 and Salerno, the Gristle Tattoo Gallery in Brooklyn (New York) and Melbourne (Australia) in 2013.
Each painting or drawing from Veks Van Hillik presents itself like an ode to fantasy, like a secret window to his dreams and chimeras, of which each scene and character is a subtle mixture of innocence and darkness.
ELIF VAROL ERGEN
ELIF VAROL ERGEN
Elif Varol Ergen is a visual artist, contemporary illustrator and instructor from Turkey. Her art mainly focused on parent-child relationship, sex discrimination, women’s rights, feminism and human psychology. The characters in her works can be outlined as uncanny, spooky and strange infants with pale faces, sharp teeth and shadows. There were heavy dose grotesque in the images, severe form deformations, sagging and melting forms merge and blend with intensive contrasts in red and black.
She illustrates a strong and independent female characters and move away from all kind of definitions and identities of women in her artwork. She uses mostly “witch and wicca” metaphors for her rebellion ladies whose behaviours totally against the common thoughts and belief of society. These wiccas are ‘the proud bad girls’, ‘rebels’ and ‘warriors’ who do the same mistakes every single time with pleasure.
She usually uses digital media, digital imaging and CNC-machined productions also sometimes combines traditional media such as acrylic, ink, silkscreening for the artworks.
Tony Graystone also known as SneakyStudios is an British Artist, currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. After a fling at fancy pants art school in Newcastle, Tony put down his pens and spent a few years exploring the earth and developing a career in the print industry. In 2010 he quit the rat race and had a crack at drawing for a living, and to this day is still (just about) holding on in there.
With a history of creating witty pop-culture themed graphics and a timeless hand drawn aesthetic, Tony has consistently pushed his skills, balancing digital art making off against a more traditional method, pen on paper. Regarding theme, its safe to say Tony has found his unique happy place somewhere between Science and Spirituality.

Vitor Willemann is a graphic designer and freelance illustrator from Florianópolis, Brazil. The portrayal of death, darkness and the occult make these works a perfect fit for t-shirts and band merchandise.
JayPee is a British artist currently living in the north of England, in the city of Leeds. Jay creates graphic art with a strong emphasis on line quality, form and composition. The work he creates is often a blend of weird, bizarre and some say paradoxically cute. A large amount of the work he creates finds its final form in vector artwork, but more and more so recently, this is translating onto physical surfaces, such as found matter and murals.
Jays interests lie in Entropy, Wabi Sabi and weirdness. In the coming years, Jay is working towards becoming a self published artist and sculptor, as his interests in documentary and 3 dimensional art grow, this will no doubt feed into his work.
Alongside creating artwork and character design, Jay works as a self employed Illustrator and art director for brands, musicians and institutions. Over the past three years Jay has acquired a comprehensive client list and portfolio.

Hello! Im Michael Steinheiser AKA Adventure Skull!
Ever since I can remember I have been a compulsive doodler, and I was always drawn to the weirder more violent subject matter. I was born in the suburbs outside of Chicago, USA, and homeschooled till high school. My scope of inspiration was relatively limited before going to school as we didn’t watch tv when I was young or play video games till I was a little older, but I still managed to draw really weird violent scenes! I had a character named “bob” with overly huge muscles and I would attempt to illustrate as many weapons on his back as I could fit in the picture!
I got a little better over the years and started my own clothing line called Wake The Dead Clothing, and had amassed a small following on Facebook. Everything sorta snow balled from there and I got one client after another and after finishing high school and going to College Of Lake County I had a nice long list of people I was making things for.
Trying to juggle school and work became increasingly difficult so after only a few semesters I dropped out to pursue art full time. And now here we are! 5 years later! I still feel like I have no describable style, Im always trying to grow and experiment with new things with my art. Maybe one day ill settle down but until then ill enjoy the ride! Hoping to start tattooing soon as well.

Jon MDC aka the artist formally known as MonkeyDeathCult, has been kicking around showing his drawings of skulls to people for quite some time now.
After a series of accusatory school reports with regards to the extremely morbid nature of the scrawls across all his text books, it was decided that a career in the arts was better than the alternative of becoming a serial killer. Somehow managing to get a BA(hons) in Fine Art, a BTEC National Diploma in Customer Services and qualifying as a life guard along the way.
Primarily working in pen and ink, large scale painting, silkscreen printing and digital pattern making. Works have been sold worldwide, published in numerous books, with gallery shows in the UK and Germany.
Currently can be found tattooing skulls and patterns on people at SquidInk, Folkestone, UK.
“Go to sleep… that’s right, put down the blanket and fork, go use the restroom and go back to sleep.” says my mother to my 8 year old self, while spotted wandering down the hallway of my childhood home.
Since a young age I have walked and talked in my sleep. not only creeping out my family but many people I have met along the way, with my sleep ramblings and wanderings, its only natural (to me) that the monicker Sleepspeak, not only works, but has stuck… I have worked in the graphic arts professionally for about five years, my area of focus has always been t-shirt graphics. so the fact that everyday I get to work on a huge variety of music based merchandise, is a dream come true (however stressful and time consuming).
It’s a perfect fit, and I couldn’t be happier with it. All bullshit aside, if I have learned anything about this world, it’s being flexible and never turning down the opportunity to try something new and completely out of your comfort zone. I learned VERY quickly, that it’s the only way to not only survive, but thrive, whether it’s working for someone, or for yourself.
Whatever you do, do it with the best of intentions and your greatest effort and you can’t go wrong! “Make haste Slowly.” -Augustus Caesar
Paul Jackson was birthed and raised in Burgess Hill, in the heart (west) of Sussex, uk in May 1981.

He also has Misophobia which is a phobia of eating sounds, – this causes his blood to boil and an uncontrollable urge to murder, he controls this by being alone and drawing.
Jackson has a degree in visual communication and a massive loan. This all occurred in Kent.

Rotten Fantom is a project of two artists: Helen from Saint Petersburg and Vladimir from Moscow. They do a surreal, horror and mystical black and white drawing. Chief idea laying in Rotten Fantom’s art is to reflect natural forces’ never ending cycle of decay and resurrection. We bridge cosmic gaps between human, beasts and plant worlds researching the borders between life and death in quest for proto-entities behind dead and living matter.
Every artwork for Rotten Fantom is the result of trance, mystic sacrifice helping to approach the state behind conditions of life and death, future and past, personality and absolute, when all dead and living create the unique canvas of existence. The purpose is to behold Great Spirit’s embroidery on that canvas.

I realised my studies in Fine Arts in Toulouse . This is not where I learned to draw ! I gained most of my drawing skills during mathematics lessons:) In fact I’ve always drawn, this probably comes from my mother who is a drawing teacher. Drawing led me to create my own graphic design studio.
I do graphic design for many customers but after some time, I had a need to express my own art. Without constraints. Most of the time, the creation is destroyed by clients who have partial vision and do not know the work involved. Regardless, now I draw and I take my time. It gives me a feeling of freedom. This is why I choose my clients based on the freedom they offer. It is a story of trust. The money is secondary because I earn my living through design.
I developed a new identity, DZO. In the last two years this character has only existed in my art. I avoid giving parasites informations about myself. What is important to know:
I am an environmentalist and esotericist.
I am convinced that we are all connected and interdependent. this is called systemic thought. So I study the symbols and their psychological impact (comments on my art facilitate this study)
I like to create works chaotic and structured at the same time
I am interested in the origin of human ideas and ancient philosophies
I love to explore and mix styles . This avoids being classified 🙂
These parameters are those that I often reveals through my art, and these are those who open my conscience. My keys.Carpediem.

Illustrator goes under the name of Fhöbik, based in France,
Before this she was a graphic designer and worked many years for creative agencies, putting her drawing aside entirely for several years.
She was often disappointed by the work she was asked to do and the lack of creativity, so decided to put an end to all of it in order to devote herself solely to her drawing.
She gets her inspiration from the world of tattoos and everything that surrounds her. She only works in black / gray using different pencils. Discovering new styles, meeting and collaborating with new people and projects of all kinds is her passion.
She hopes it will continue… and strongly invites you to find out more about her work!
Ramone was born in the south of Spain, he is a graphic designer, illustrator, printmaker and teacher of screen printing. He has been influenced by urban art, and is passionate about surfing and longboarding.
As an enthusiastic artist he has been active in exhibitions nationwide. He is obsessed with tattoos, skulls, and anything with many eyes.
When creating art he sets aside daily dedicated time to his sketchbook. This is hugely important because pure and inspired creation becomes more evident in notebook sketches, This is where all the characters are born, where pencil dares transform.

Godmachine was born in Cardiff, South Wales, it was a difficult birth; his parents were in London at the time. He grew up on a steady diet of nothing, 2000AD comics, Santa Cruz skateboards and old library books of Klimt and Beardsley.
His art is born of Jim Philips, raised by Simon Bisley and adopted by his everyday influences; film, literature and music.
He uses a wacom, photoshop and coffee to achieve his detailed images that have made quite an impact on band merch, skateboards and clothing companies today.
He owns 2 cats: Bear and Miss Boo Boo Kitty Fuck II and has a worrying amount of coffee mugs with cats on them. Although a vegetarian and a devout anti-theist he collects animal skulls, animal horns and crucifixs along with old discarded black and white photos.
I was born and raised in Ottawa Ontario Canada. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. Even as a child my mother encouraged me to draw on the walls. I started working in a local tattoo studio when I was a teenager where I ended up getting an apprenticeship for tattooing. It was tattooing that got me to take art more seriously. I started painting with acrylics, & then oil dry brush. After six years I decided to shift my focus from tattooing, to my artwork. I started drawing with pencil in October 2012. Now pencil and charcoal are my main mediums although I still dabble with paints and do the occasional tattoo on loved ones.

Chris “Mad Man” McAlister spends his time as a freelance illustrator as well as a Display Coordinator for Anthropologie in Jacksonville, Florida.
His work runs the gamut from clean detailed inks to large painterly murals and everything in-between. He’s been hashing away at some form of art ever since he could lift a pencil. This Mad Man’s continual drive to progress and constantly work even when there isn’t a client to work for keeps him looking for fresh ways to hone his skills.
Chris started freelancing in high school under “McAlister Art and Design” to which his teacher asked if he was “MAD”. The accidental moniker caught on with friends and classmates because he had “mad skills” and the rest is history.
He went on to pursue art in college and dove into working as a graphic designer for newspapers while getting his degree but has since focused on traditional mediums due to his love of the tactile aspects of art.
Chris is available for any traditional and digital commissions.
